BEER PONG RULES

Each team begins with 10 cups arranged in a pyramid and one-third filled with beer or liquor. Typically, the two teams will shoot to see who goes first. Two balls are used.
Once the game begins and a ball lands in a cup, the cups contents must be consumed by the opposing team, and then the cup is removed from the table
Players continue to shoot at each others cups until none remain. The losing team must drink the remaining cups of the winning team.
At any time during the game, a team may request to have the opposing teams cups rearranged in any formation they choose. This is only allowed once.
If a ball hits a player and falls into a cup, it counts. If two members of the team make each of their shots, the balls are returned to them to shoot again – and again if both continue to make their shots tandem.
After the last cup is made, the losing team has two shots to keep the game going – a rebuttal. If that team makes one cup, both balls are returned to the original team, and the game continues.
Sometimes a ball will ring around the top portion of a cup; ladies only are allowed to blow on a ballot try to get it to bounce out of the cup
Any cup knocked over counts. However, players may not deliberately knock over a cup.

HOW TO THROW THE BALL INTO THE CUP

ARC - Use a gentle elbow motion with the upper arm parallel with the table (like shooting a basketball)
Bounce - Throw sideways and bounce the ball for a muck bounce, which is more difficult to swat away than a normal
Fastball – Throw in a direct line to the targeted cup using a pistol grip or a slam dunk.
Underhand – Toss the ball underhand for good distance shots, although this type of throw is the hardest to control.
